- Silent Cubes automatically sends daily encrypted status reports to FAST LTA.
- A status web page lets you view the utilization and status of your Silent Cubes and the remote systems on which your data is replicated at any time.
- The super-redundancy makes an immediate replacement of hard disks unnecessary in the majority of cases; when a replacement is needed, it can be done during the normal service window with no detriment whatsoever to regular operation.
- If a part of the system has to be replaced, all data is typically preserved. It will not be necessary to do a time-consuming restore from a tape backup.
- Should it be necessary to replace the Heda Unit, the data will be fully re-built from the connected storage units.
- Should your configuration verge on the limits of your storage capacity, the monitoring we perform indicates the situation to us in good time and we will be able to punctually install an applicable system expansion for you.
- Should a local Silent Cube ever be a complete loss (for example due to theft, water damage, etc.), FAST LTA can provide you with a complete replacement system ASAP – even, provided you are set up for remote replicating, including all of your data.
